The Designer Matilde Cano has come a long way in the world of fashion since she started her brand in 1976 when she presented the first Prêt-à-Porter Collection, successfully showing her mastery in combining the trends light and colour. She did not forget her home town origins of Córdoba, including her real feel and extensive knowledge of the Spanish flair in fashion. Over the years the brand’s expansion has continued with its recognised collections of evening dresses, cocktail and occasion wear, making the brand a leader in the sector of social events. Thanks to the care in selecting the raw materials, Silk, Chiffon, Muslin or French Chantilly and the continuous research of elegance we get the final result. In that same year, Matilde Cano received a Mention of Honour award, she opened her first boutique in her hometown Cordoba, followed by new openings of seven own brand stores and then multi-brand stores throughout Spain, the European Union and the Middle East. Actually we start the research to approach the US market with the business emphasis in New York. She is not only recognised in our country, the international market has opened its doors, she was once proposed by the foreign trade department to internationalize the company. She chose the French market as the first step towards the international expansion, positioning the product into multi-brand stores, expansion followed with the Italian and Portuguese markets.

LA BODA DE BELÉN Y MIGUEL EN CÓRDOBA

“Miguel y yo nos conocimos en el trabajo” nos cuenta Belén. Un comienzo de lo más bonito por toda la historia que envuelve detrás. “Él es profesional de ciclismo de montaña. Me ha metido en el mundillo de la competición y me encanta, nos compenetramos en todo gracias a esto y toda la vida que lo envuelve”. Dos personas que saben entenderse a la perfección y caminan por la vida mirando siempre hacia el mismo lado, deciden dar el paso tras sus cinco años de noviazgo. “El vestido tenía claro que tenía que ser de Matilde Cano” afirma Belén. “Sabía que iban a entenderme a la perfección y así fue, salí con el vestido de mis sueños”. El vestido de novia de Belén destacaba por su elegancia y sencillez. El protagonismo recaía en la espectacular abertura de su espalda que acababa con un distinguido aplique floral en tonos azules. Un color que representa la fidelidad del matrimonio, el amor y la pureza que desprende esta bonita pareja. Asimismo, este vestido destacaba por su versatilidad, conseguida a través de una increíble falda de tul que lo transformaba a la perfección. ¡Wow, 2 vestidos en 1! De su peinado y su natural maquillaje se encargó Mac estilistas, consiguiendo un resultado radiante. El enlace tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Córdoba. La iglesia elegida fue la Parroquia de El Salvador y Santo Domingo de Silos y su posterior celebración en Los Jardines de Sansueña, un lugar lleno de encanto que puso el broche de oro a este día tan especial. Una boda llena de amor, emoción y diversión que quedará plasmada en sus corazones para el resto de sus vidas.
